Small batch gin

Logo Alidor

Pure and honest gin, blended and distilled in an artisanal way, following the rules of art – this is Pieter Verhoye’s passion and mission. Alidor is more than gin. It’s a vision, a conviction. A unique method used to create excellent spirits. For this Citrus Gin, Verhoye has carefully selected 25 aromatic herbs and spices and the finest fruit. And of course, out of respect for his great-grandfather, he could not but include wild hops.

Taste

Alidor is a spicy, strong ‘Belgian Style Gin’ created by chef Pieter Verhoye:
100% pure and 100% craft. Alidor - the forename of Pieter’s inspiring great-grandfather - is fresh on the nose, with a spicy undertone. Its taste is full and rich, with delicate and fresh touches of lemon and lime zest.
The Franklin & Sons handcrafted premium tonics brings out the delicious flavours and aromas tot the fullest. Garnisch with lemon grass, a wedge of lime and lime leaf (optional).

All herbs and spices are macerated separately, some for several weeks. They are individually distilled and then blended. Alidor gin is masterfully distilled using traditional methods at the Flemish Bassets Craft Distillery.

About Pieter Verhoye

It’s in Pieter Verhoye’s genes. His great-grandfather Alidor had a lively pub in the Flemish village of Kachtem. At the “Prins Albert” the beer flowed like water. The place smelled of hops in bloom and fine malt. People laughed, drank and made merry. Prosit! To purity. To craftsmanship. To Alidor.
